ACE Annual Meeting
January 28 - 30, 2018
Portland, Oregon

Stop by and visit The Oncology Group in booth #7 at the 24th ACE Annual Meeting. Don't forget to join Ron as he presents a session on, Oncology Revenue Cycle: Biggest Challenges, Best Practices and Multidisciplinary Collaboration for Success on Sunday, January 28th from 1:15-2:00PM. It is important to know revenue in expense as a roll up to the service line of oncology but in order to manage effectively you need to know the top payers, profitable Dx by specialty, lost liters, as well as variable and fixed expense by specialty. In this session, Ron will discuss the skeleton and application of this data acquisition and analysis.

You can also join Cindy Parman, Executive Vice President from Coding Strategies, a Revenue Cycle affiliated company, for her session on Drug Reimbursement and 340B Updates and Changes on Monday, January 29th from 4:20-4:50PM. While drug spending is about 12% of total US health care expenditures, it has been increasing faster than costs for physicians' services or hospital care. As a result, Medicare and other payers are considering changes to drug reimbursement and alternative payment models. These proposals may include accelerating manufacturer drug discounts, modifying the average sales price reimbursement model, requiring evidence and specialty drugs. In addition, the CMS has proposed to change the reimbursement rate for certain drugs purchased by hospitals through the 340B program and fine drug companies that overcharge for medications purchased under this arrangement.
