We keep current with oncology industry events through associations such as ACRO, ACE, ACCC, ASTRO, ASRT and SROA. American Association of Medical Dosimetrists Annual Meeting

Tamara and Adam will also be presenting a session on The Challenges of Coding and Billing for New Technology. In the field of radiation oncology, it is not uncommon for technology to bypass the available codes, which leaves you questioning which codes to use and what will be reimbursed. This presentation will address the process of code development, pricing and payer acceptance, as well as the concept of bundling and packaging that affects many of the dosimetry planning codes and new technologies.  Examples of new technology, equipment, and therapeutic trends will be discussed, including the available codes and payer requirements.
